A Brush With Kindness (ABWK) Program offers exterior home maintenance assistance for low-income families, elderly, and individuals with disabilities who are struggling to do the maintenance themselves. The scope of projects through this program is limited to exterior painting, light landscaping, and yard cleanup. We identify ABWK candidates through our application process, affiliation referrals and code violations.
Once an application is approved, we assemble and coordinate a team of 5-10 volunteers depending on the size of the project. This program not only helps homeowners, but neighborhoods become revitalized and energized.
